This page (version 2) displays some different section options for your home page. Starting with a full-width video above the fold. You can upload any promotional video for your golf club to engage organic visitors. Your video will be seen by anyone entering your website and you can directly measure the performance of the content by monitoring views. Utilising video content can generate more leads and strengthen brand awareness. The effectiveness of this section will depend on the creative approach and quality of the video content used.
Next is a two-column section where you can feature an image or video block. This section is highly versatile. It can be used to feature a service, an event, or story. Order the two-column section higher or lower on the page as a component of a scrollable journey. Add links with descriptive anchor text to the copy to direct website users and improve SEO. For example, you can click the following links to view home version 1 and version 3 to get some more ideas.
Body Section
Use body sections to share website copy and images. Remember it’s best practice to have at least 300 words of relevant text on each page. So use body sections on the home page to tell website visitors about your club. You can edit the background colour of these sections to match your theme and visually organise information.
Why not add a relevant image alongside your copy to help illustrate this section? The image here has been floated to the right so it sit’s nicely within the section and adds more dimension to the page. Liven your copy up with some great imagery!
